Bartlett House
The construction and funding of Bartlett House was a project of Bartlett Regional Hospital Foundation and opened in 1999. The facility was made possible by donations from individuals, civic groups, corporations and a partial federal grant. Continued generosity has assisted in the maintenance of the building.
Bartlett House is short stay lodging for patients and families from outside Juneau who are receiving services at Bartlett Regional Hospital.
Registration
Rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis. Guests register for check-in and check-out at the Hospital Patient Access Services (Admissions). (907) 796-8900.
The facility is located across the street from Bartlett Regional Hospital. Each room has two single beds and some have one roll away available. Up to four guests, including infants are allowed in each room. One family may use no more than two rooms.
Parking is provided. Recreational vehicle parking with electrical hook up is available for a minimal charge.
Charges
Payment may be made in cash, VISA or MasterCard. Bartlett House is an authorized Medicaid provider.
Room charges from May 1 through September 30 are $60 per night, October 1 through April 30 are $45 per night.
Admission Criteria – Physicians referral is required
- Inpatients and outpatients are allowed one day prior to appointment and two days after appointment.
- Patients receiving medical services other than at Bartlett Regional Hospital may be eligible for rooms.
- Families of patients or companions may stay on same basis as patients.
- Maximum stay for families of inpatients is seven days.
- Individuals requiring assistance to accomplish normal daily activities may stay only if accompanied by an assistance companion. There is no service provided by the Hospital to guests at Bartlett House.
- A parent or guardian must accompany youth under the age of 18.
